Dancing Feats throws monthly west coast swing parties on the third Saturday of every month. We've been dancing in Boston since 1989, and we've learned how to have a great time. Our monthly parties often have guest instructors; see here for details.
We have lessons, dances, and special events throughout the year. We'll update the website as information becomes available. If you've got specific questions, just ask!
With no prior dance experience, Kyle made his first plunge into dance in 2013 when he started West Coast Swing. In September 2014, he was given the opportunity to start teaching West Coast Swing at the Beginner and Intermediate levels and has since been also teaching at the Advanced level. Kyle has also been developing as a DJ, throughout the Boston area, since January 2016. While DJing, his number one goal is to provide dancers with a fun and unique variety of music on any given night. When Kyle isn’t dancing, he can be found writing software for robots at QinetiQ North America.
He has been dancing since 1979, directing Dancing Feats since 1989 and The Dancing Fools since 2010. He's taught over 25,000 people to swing dance! Since the beginning, he's helped nurture West Coast Swing in New England. He has had successful careers as a competitive ballroom dancer, a competitive swing dancer, and as an international instructor and performer. Off the dance floor, he's an Associate Professor of Psychology at Lesley University.
